Kathleen has a passion for  weaving together the performing arts, healing arts and science.

As a board-certified holistic nurse, with a Master’s in Expressive Arts Therapies and Healing Arts and a PhD in Spirituality, she is curious about the way that words, story, beliefs and perceptions influence and shape our health and well-being. 

Her works often weave together science and medicine, and have featured historic women who have made important yet under-recognized contributions to society.

Kathleen plays also give voice to her rich nursing experiences.

Her work with neuro-science units at an academic medical center, informs her interest in emerging field of NeuroArts, which explores how the arts and aesthetic experiences measurably change the body, brain, and behavior.

Kathleen has recently discovered the joys of stand-up-comedy, and loves bringing tales of her nursing experiences to the stage.
